Convenor: Jake Oldershaw

Participants: Tim Stimpson, Craig Stephens, Janice Connolly, Abigail King, Alison Gagen, Arnim Vriess, Sofia Tarr, Therese Collins, Amanda Roberts

Notes:

ArtsFest

Is it working? Who runs it? Can it take a radical change of tack?

Maybe at the least there should be a list of contact details of the participating organisations in the ArtsFest programme

Be clearer about the hierarchy of companies in the programme

Approach change in a positive way if communicating with council/business

Produce a cross artform open space

How do we make sure people know about events?

No adequate listings magazine/reviewers

Maybe we should focus on Created in Birmingham only

How do arts organisations coalesce? Should as companies set up consultation days wih Birmingham citizens?

Actions:

Set up a lobbying group and use midpoint for that Also set up a consultation about the future of artsfest Approach CiB about widening their listings/reviews
